5	OSEI, Emmanuel	Ghanaian defender was acquired on loan from Liberty Professionals. Has played in Ghana, Turkey, Italy, and Romania.  Capped for Ghana’s senior national team. International Roster Player #2 of 8 (Ghana)
8	TIERNEY, Chris	Reserve midfielder/left back who could struggle to make the final roster.
11	DUBE, Kheli	Best suited to be the team’s 3rd forward, Dube has been pressed into more playing time than the team would like due to injuries. International Roster Player #3 of 8 (Zimbabwe)
16	CASTRO, Mauricio	Disappointing winger was signed prior to the 2008 season, but has yet to really make his mark in MLS, due in part to injuries. International Roster Player #4 of 8 (Costa Rica)
19	VIDEIRA, Michael	Local midfielder was a collegiate standout at Duke, but often looked overmatched in MLS during his rookie season. Will have to show something in training camp to make the team.
20	TWELLMAN, Taylor	The club’s all-time leading goal-scorer, and arguably the best goal-scorer in the history of the league. Has barely played the last year and a half after suffering complications from a collision with a goalkeeper in 2008.
21	JOSEPH, Shalrie	Arguably, the best all-around player in MLS today, and one of the best midfielders in league history.
25	BARNES, Darrius	Third round pick out of Duke turned in an astonishingly good rookie season, and was the only player in the league to play every minute of every game last season. An athletic center back, Barnes is perhaps best known for his long throw ins.
28	PHELAN, Pat	Reserve central midfielder may be in line for more playing time this season after the trade of Jeff Larentowicz.
29	MANSALLY, Kenny	Speedy Gambian winger will battle Mauricio Castro for the starting job on the left side of midfield unless reinforcements are brought in. International Roster Spot #5 of 8 (Gambia)
30	ALSTON, Kevin	Tenacious, speedy, athletic right back was a revelation in his rookie season. Already on the US Men’s National Team radar. Needs to stay healthy.
31	NYASSI, Sainey	Another lightning quick Gambian winger, Nyassi seems poised to claim the starting position on the right side of midfield with the trade of Wells Thompson and the retirement of Steve Ralston. International Roster Spot #6 of 8 (Gambia)
–	BURPO, Preston	Veteran goalkeeper was acquired from Colorado to provide cover for Matt Reis while he recovers from off-season shoulder surgery.
–	GIBBS, Cory	Former USMNT defender could get the starting nod at left back, where he has played at times in the past. Has a reputation for being talented, but fragile. Has played for such clubs as FC St. Pauli, Feyenoord, Charlton Athletic, and the Dallas Burn.

–	SCHILAWSKI, Zach	2009 First Round Draft Pick. Talented Wake Forest forward/winger completed his college eligibility, so he’ll have to make the Senior Roster. To be best of our knowledge, he has not yet signed an MLS contract.
–	SINOVIC, Seth	2009 Second Round Draft Pick. Currently unsigned. Collegiate left back has a chance to beat out Chris Tierney for a roster spot.
–	BOGGS, Zak	2009 Second Round Draft Pick. Currently unsigned. Well-travelled Forward/Midfielder attended three different colleges before settling on South Florida.
–	GRIFFITHS, Jason	2009 Third Round Draft Pick. Currently unsigned. Forward/Midfielder could be battling Boggs for a spot on the Developmental Roster.
–	WELCH, Adam	2009 Fourth Round Draft Pick. Currently unsigned. Former Lehigh defender has an outside shot to make the Developmental Roster.
